Geda products are available in matt (black and white) and satin (brass, copper, gold) finishes. We only use water-based acrylic paints with a low environmental impact, in line with the brand's eco-sustainability philosophy. Processing requires the product to be painted to be sandblasted, followed by the application of an epoxy primer and a double layer of coating. The paint is then covered with a transparent opaque protective coat and finally dried in the oven.
The new special Dark Brass and Old Bronze paints are obtained through a hand-made process that makes each piece unique. The products, in fact, are treated with manual painting and satin procedures. After sandblasting, which favors the adhesion of the paint, a primer is applied to facilitate adhesion, then a light base and a darker layer. A manual satin finishing is then carried out and, finally, a transparent protection is applied.
The exclusive Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) treatment is a process of superior quality that creates a very thin film on the surface of the product. PVD is a treatment that does not cause damage to the environment and is free of risks for human health. Furthermore, this special finish increases the surface resistance of the product, guaranteeing a superior protection from the aggressive action of chlorides and household detergents, enhancing brightness and beauty. It is available in gold, carbon and roseè.
