All GEDA lines are made of brass and manually finished in chrome, through a manual galvanic treatment, which guarantees greater quality and attention to the details. The procedure takes place through electrolytic deposition in a galvanic bath, where the product is slowly covered by a thin metallic layer, while the metal to be deposited is slowly consumed by releasing ions into a solution. Chrome plating, has a lifetime warranty for peeling defects, and gives to the products brightness and high surface resistance.
All Geda products are available in two varnished finishes: matt white and matt black. We only use water-based acrylic paints with a low environmental impact, in line with the philosophy of eco-sustainability of the brand. The product to be varnished is treated with a blasting process, followed by the application of an epoxy primer and a double layer of coating. The paint is then covered with a matt transparent protective and finally dried in the oven.
Some selected Geda taps and accessories for bathroom and kitchen are also available in two exclusive finishes: polished roseè and polished carbon. The finishes are obtained through the process of Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD),the physical vapor deposition, which creates a very thin film on the surface of the product giving it a greater surface resistance and reducing the possibility of scratches and abrasions. All processes takes place on request and provide, after approval of the company, an implementation time between 40 to 60 working days.
