Manifesto

We want to look toward a future where we rediscover the value of time and of things, removing what is unnecessary. We express this through our products and, in doing so, we tell the story of who we are and of our philosophy. For us, design is first and foremost the rediscovery of everyday beauty, turning even the most functional objects into a creative act.

ORIGINS

The origins

In 1995, Geda was born — a company founded on the vision and energy of Stefano Macchion, sales agent for kitchen components and accessories, and our owner and designer. Stefano soon realized that the faucets available on the market at that time lacked an authentic personality — that touch of design capable of transforming them from a simple functional element into the true protagonist of the kitchen space. This insight led him, in the early 1990s, to venture directly into the production of kitchen and bathroom faucets. Thus began the foundation of expertise that today makes Geda a benchmark in the industry.

Launch of the Radomonte Brand

In 2016, Geda took a further step forward by launching the Radomonte brand, entirely dedicated to AISI 316L stainless steel taps. This strategic choice reflects the company's intention to fully explore the potential of steel, with a complete catalogue that allows customers to find unique solutions for every project. Radomonte quickly became a benchmark for those seeking stainless steel taps, while Geda continued to strengthen its presence in the brass taps market.

Design innovation and excellence awards

Following industrial design trends, in 2017 the Tibò model was born, inspired by the aesthetics of gears, and immediately won numerous awards for its unique design. Shortly after, in 2019, the Koè series arrived, inspired by New York lofts and featuring elements reminiscent of exposed pipe valves. Both models were awarded at the Archiproducts Design Awards, a recognition celebrating the originality and timeless charm of these products. In addition to the Archiproducts Design Awards, Tibò also received accolades at the BigSee Product Design Awards 2017, won silver at the IDA Design Awards, and earned a special mention at the German Design Awards the same year.

In 2019, Geda continued expanding its range by introducing “Geda Project”, a series with versatile design conceived for the contract sector, as well as bathroom accessories such as towel rails, dispensers and hooks. This range extension allows architects and designers to complete their projects with accessories in the same finish as the taps, giving further momentum to the demand for finished models.

The integration of in-house painting

Since 2020, thanks to its own in-house painting facility, the company has been able to meet the growing demand for products with customized finishes. This made it possible, in 2021, to create a real painting department – now in constant improvement and expansion – marking a further step in the company’s production evolution.

Radomonte innovation: UP22

In 2022, Radomonte strengthened its leading role in the industry with the launch of UP22, a line of showerheads that combines minimalist aesthetics with advanced functionality. Made from AISI 316L stainless steel and Delrin, the showerheads stand out for their compact design (Ø 70 mm) and the option of 3 or 7 nozzles, offering high flexibility to meet different design needs. Thanks to the combination of high-quality materials and innovative technical details, the UP22 series attracts the attention of architects and designers, earning the prestigious Archiproducts Design Award 2022. This success further reinforces Radomonte’s identity as a brand synonymous with excellence and innovation in stainless steel taps.
