Accessibility statement

GEDA S.r.l. is committed to making its website gedanextage.com accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities, in accordance with Italian Legislative Decree no. 82 of 27 May 2022, which transposes Directive (EU) 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act) into Italian law, and with the relevant technical guidelines.

This statement applies to the website https://www.gedanextage.com/ in its Italian, English, German, French and Spanish versions.

Compliance status

This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA and the European standard EN 301 549, due to the cases of non-compliance listed below.

Non-accessible content

a) Non-compliance with accessibility requirements

The review covered a sample of representative pages across the site (homepage in its different languages, institutional pages, product and collection pages, the news section, the contact page); it therefore does not cover every single published page. The following issues were identified, described in terms of their impact on people using the site:

• Images without alternative descriptions — many product, finish and article images have no alternative text: screen reader users receive no information about their content (WCAG 1.1.1).
• Main content not identified and no skip link — the main content of each page is not marked as such for assistive technologies, and there is no link to skip directly to it: people navigating by keyboard or screen reader must go through the entire menu on every page (WCAG 1.3.1, 2.4.1).
• Some links and buttons without an accessible name — the search icon, the logo, the social media icons and the homepage carousel arrows have no descriptive name: for screen reader users these appear as "empty" controls whose purpose is unclear (WCAG 4.1.2, 2.4.4).
• Insufficient text contrast in some areas — some headings and the newsletter sign-up form fields have a colour contrast below the required minimum, making them hard to read for people with reduced vision (WCAG 1.4.3).
• Focus indicator not always visible — on some controls (carousel arrows, full-screen image gallery buttons) the indicator that shows the active element while navigating by keyboard is not visible, making it difficult to navigate without a mouse (WCAG 2.4.7).

b) Disproportionate burden

At present, no disproportionate burden exemptions are claimed.

c) Content not within the scope of the legislation

Some content may fall outside the scope of the legislation, including:

• third-party content not developed, funded or controlled by GEDA S.r.l. (e.g. embedded videos, maps, social widgets or external payment systems);
• documents in non-editable formats (e.g. PDF) published before any remediation.

Preparation of this accessibility statement

This statement was prepared on 8 July 2026.

The method used was a self-assessment carried out internally, based on a review of a sample of representative pages through source code inspection and automated testing tools (axe-core). No testing with real screen readers was performed, nor an exhaustive review of every page on the site; a broader audit and a future review with NVDA/VoiceOver on the main user journeys are recommended.

The statement will be reviewed periodically and whenever significant changes are made. Last review: 8 July 2026.

Commitment to improvement

GEDA S.r.l. regards accessibility as an ongoing process of continuous improvement. Technical and editorial work is underway to progressively remove the barriers listed above and bring the website into full compliance with WCAG 2.1 level AA.
